So to review… I lowered my fat intake by reducing the amount of avocados, nuts and seeds that I ate and removed the olive oil entirely. I also removed all refined sugars and processed foods Which meant I ate only what I could buy at the farmer’s market… nothing came prepackaged in a bag or box with a label. I switched the coffee for tea. I stopped using vinegar on my salads and swapped salt for celery. I slowly started increasing my fruit intake. And the results were incredible. Within a few days I noticed I needed less insulin, my energy was endless all day, I wasn’t constantly craving foods like before. I lost 6 pounds in the first week. My thinking was sharper and I was able to focus longer. I wasn’t getting irritated so easily. And overall I was noticeably more calm and happy.
