More Insulin Equals More Weight Gain

It’s a simple equation. And the more fat in your diet the more insulin you will need. That is because the fat lines are your arteries and blocks the insulin receptors. So the sugars stay in your blood stream forcing your pancreas to pump out more insulin for it to have an effect.

From my personal experience, the moment I reduced my fat intake from avocados, nuts seeds, oils and especially coconut products my insulin sensitivity went through the roof! I could enjoy 10-15 pieces of fruit a day while needing less insulin than when I was on a low carb diet.

Whether you produce insulin or inject it, the same fact remains… the more insulin you use the more weight you gain. Please pay attention to your fat intake.
