My interest in health began 23 years ago when my Mama and I choose to become Vegan. She studied at Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida and would teach me what she learned. Over the years I enjoyed many courses, seminars, and expos around the world on health.

What Do The Pros Eat?

What Do The Pros Eat?

For those of you fearing a plant based diet would make you loose your athletic edge or too much weight, have a look here at some of the pros. Many people also fear that a plant-based diet will not provide sufficient protein, but here are some real life examples of top-rated professional athletes that prove a vegan diet not only provides ample amounts of protein but also higher quality and better overall nutrition.

For those body builders out there…

Some of the strongest men in the world are vegan. Olympic gold medalist Kendrick Ferris broke the American weightlifting record.. He can lift 831 pounds!

So to are the fastest. Carl Lewis won 10 Olympic medals, 9 of which were gold. He claims he ran his best meet of his life the year he turned vegan

Dave Scott holds the most iron man world championship victories ever! If you are concerned about endurance consider he managed a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and a 26 mile marathon 6 times!

Joe Namath was inducted into the hall of fame as one of the best football players ever. Also vegan.

Griff Wallen says I feel a lot lighter, faster, and quicker on the field. There isn’t that heavy groggy feeling after I eat.

If you are worried about weight gain, linebacker David Cater weighs in at 300 pound all from a vegan diet. For those of you who suffer from injuries… Notice the “pain-free” comment.

7 feet tall Robert Parish played along side Larry Bird and was inducted into the basketball hall of fame. Also Vegan.

Champion skier Hannah Teter…

I could go on but you get the point. A vegan diet has proven more than sufficient in every sport. In fact, it has proven to excel the athletes’ performance. AND reduce the threat of injury. Have I successfully made the case for a plant-based diet? OK, good! Feel free to pause here if you need to take a break. We have one section left.
