Tip #2: Eat Dinners at the Table as a Family

 

One of my favorite childhood memories were Friday night Shabbat dinners, where the family came together around the dinning table. We lit candles and simply spent some quality time together. Those memories hold a special warm place in my heart.

 

Turns out these dinners played a bigger role than I thought. Studies now show that family dinners have a positive effect on social and behavioral development. The security and positive emotions that come from face-to-face interactions strongly contribute to health and longevity.

 

AND best of all, family dinners tend to increase the consumption of fruits and vegetables! Please consider making family dinners a priority at least 3-4 times a week.
